Here is the final Top 75 Seattle Media Websites list.

Very interesting how so many upstart web-only blogs have come out of nowhere to climb the charts this year.

Of course, none of these blogs are making any real money. Sites such as Publicola.net and Crosscut.com have deep-pocketed investors willing to pour money into the sites as a tax write-off, but that's another story.

Setting some guidelines before re-finalizing this list based on the comments below the story.

1. To qualify, your Seattle-based media site must produce some local news content on a regular basis.

2. Your site must have a unique domain name - no subdomains, subdirectories or other weird addresses. Sorry "mercerislandblogger.wordpress.com" and "beaconhill.seattle.wa.us" but you need to go and register a nice domain name of your own if you want to make the list. Show that you are serious - this is not 1997.

If you don't like that seemingly arbitrary rule media-inc.com has been providing all manner of charts like this since before I moved to town two decades ago.

3. Ranking techflash.com here opened up a can of worms from other tech sites. Techflash is Seattle-based, run by daily newspaper vets and reports on Seattle-based Microsoft™ alot so they qualify – even though their traffic dwarfs most Seattle neighborhood blogs – the focus of this list. "Npost.com" wanted to be on the list but as far as I can tell this is some sort of corporate marketing doodang and has nothing to do with Seattle news.
