Seattle's "Joe the Plumber" Voting for Obama

Joe the Plumber of joetheplumberseattle.com told me (7:51 PM PST) his "phone is ringing off the hook." And that "he's voting for Obama!" He likes the free publicity. "Works for me," he said.

McCain mentioned "Joe the Plumber" (of Ohio) multiple times during tonight's historic Presidential debate. Called Joe of joetheplumber.com in Amarillo, Texas, but kept getting busy signals - every reporter in the country is probably doing the same thing to the poor guy. We'll keep trying until he picks up because we want to know if he's for Obama or McCain. Email Amarillo Joe at joe@joetheplumber.com.

Update: We scooped the corporate media on the Seattle Joe the Plumber story! Here's the KIRO version, where they don't bother asking him who he's gonna vote for: Debate Draws Attention To Seattle 'Joe The Plumber'

NEW (10-16) Joe in the Spotlight
“You know, I’ve always wanted to ask one of these guys a question and really corner them and get them to answer a question,” he said, “for once instead of tap dancing around it. And unfortunately I asked the question, but I still got a tap dance.”

He added, “Almost as good as Sammy Davis Jr.”

"McCain wants to “find bad teachers another line of work.” You know, like plumbing."

In the future I will call the Seattle Joe the Plumber if, god forbid, I ever have a plumbing problem. He sounded like a nice guy.
